With so many options nowadays for phone repair shops, it seems that the only factor in your mind may be price. Although it may make sense to go into an all out price hunt, there may be much more to pay attention to for your next repair. Here are some tips to look out for in your next mobile repair shop:
1. Parts
For some, a phone can literally be a lifeline. For that same reason, it doesn’t make sense to put your investment at risk by using cheap materials or shady technicians. One issue we commonly see is customers bringing in phones that are not working correctly after deciding to go to the most “affordable” option.
2. Shop Appearance
Repairing phones can be a very tedious, and detail orientated job. There is no room for lack of organization because those bad habits can reflect on the products being repaired, and your overall experience.

Social Media has become the voice of the public, and it can be a good reflection of past user’s experience with the mobile repair shop. Twitter, Facebook, and Yelp pages are all good indicator of general opinion.

Look out for shops with actual locations, since most likely this will show that they are in the business for the long run. Also, try to find a shop in a convenient location, or even better, try to find a mobile repair shop that can come to you.
